The Red Sox recalled Iglesias from Triple-A Pawtucket on Friday, Jenny Dell of NESN Boston reports.

Impact
Iglesias, who appeared in six games with the Red Sox earlier this season, was brought up to take the roster spot of Will Middlebrooks, who landed on the disabled list. He went 9-for-20 with the Red Sox earlier this season, but hit just .202 in 33 games with Pawtucket, so it seems likely that he and Pedro Ciriaco will share the third-base duties in Middlebrooks' absence. Iglesias, however, will man the hot corner for the Red Sox on Friday night.
