Jun 17 10:04pBarnes went 3-for-5 with a run and two stolen bases in Monday's 4-2 loss to the White Sox.
ImpactBarnes is still just 6-for-11 on stolen base attempts this year, but fantasy owners will be glad to see that a lack of success hasn't kept him from trying. So long as he keeps producing, Barnes figures to hold on to the starting center field job after Justin Maxwell (hand) returns from the disabled list. Maxwell would likely slide over to left field, leaving the struggling J.D. Martinez in danger of losing his starting job.
