Impact
After surprisingly batting .341 in 85 at-bats with the Royals last season, Falu fell back down to earth this spring, going 5-for-23 (.217), taking himself out of the competition for a backup role in the process. The 29-year-old minor league veteran doesn't have a lot of upside at this point, and may see his small window of opportunity with the Royals starting to close as more talented infield prospects near the majors.
