Kotchman (hamstring) could head out on a rehab assignment "in the next few days," the Palm Beach Post reports.

Impact
Kotchman was able to run Tuesday, so it's evident that his hamstring is feeling pretty good. He won't be eligible to come off the disabled list until June 3, but it's looking like he will be in position to be activated that day if the Marlins choose.
