News and Analysis
Prior to being let go by the Lions, coach Jim Schwartz noted that Johnson will most likely require a minor surgical procedure to repair his right knee, the Detroit News reports. "He's going to need some surgery," according to Schwartz. "Nothing major. Not microfracture surgery or anything like that."

Impact: ESPN's Adam Schefter has reported that Johnson had been dealing with a sprained knee "with loose bodies" in it, while earlier reports suggested that Megatron may have been dealing with a partially torn PCL since October. In any case, it appears as though Johnson's knee issue will be addressed this offseason, and barring any unexpected findings, we'd expect him to be ready to go next season, and at the top of the 2014 fantasy wideout rankings. Johnson finished this season with 84 receptions for 1,492 yards and 12 touchdowns in 14 games.
