Transactions involve intra-roster and inter-roster moves.

Intra-Roster Moves
Intra-roster moves include activating a player or benching a player. These moves are made by a team owner or the commissioner to the roster of a team. All intra-roster moves must be made 5 minutes prior to the players to the start of their game for the week. Only the commissioner may make retroactive intra-roster moves. Many times you will receive alerts which can assist you in ensuring you have a valid and optimal roster, i.e. "Your roster is illegal: Remove: QB, BN." Messages like these are to assist you in keeping a valid roster, should you not make the changes communicated in the alert will prevent your team from receiving points for the week.

Inter-Roster Moves
Inter-roster moves include adding, dropping, or trading players. These moves are made between 2 teams (trades) or between one team and the free agency pool (adds, drops). You may receive a alert informing you of trades pending your approval if you are in a league in which it is a league approval league.

Future Roster Moves
Future intra-roster moves can be made at any time. Future inter-roster moves should only be applicable for the next week, for a specified trade process date, or for the stated waiver clear date.
