I know of at least one person who really missed the services of David Garrard in 2011.  Marcedes Lewis went from scoring 10 touchdowns last season to none, nada, zip, zero in 2011.  Blaine Gabbert and Lewis may want to grab a cup of coffee in the off-season to work out of some of the kinks. - Ryan Fowler

The "Gronk" was good 'til the last drop ... err ... catch.  In the season finale, the tight end did not dissapoint with 108 yards and his 18th fantasy touchdown.  He broke a NFL record for most receiving yards by a tight end with 1,327.  Gronk is a second-round pick in 2012 if he's available. - Ryan Fowler

Injuries are part of the game, but you could argue Andre Johnson's stung worst of all in 2011.  The wide out failed to reach 500 receiving yards with only two touchdowns in limited action.  Here's to hoping he regains fantasy stud status in 2012.  Right now, Calvin Johnson has a stranglehold as the top fantasy receiver. - Ryan Fowler

He's out of this world!  Johnson finished his remarkable season with a career-high 11 receptions for 244 yards and a touchdown.  For the season Megatron caught 96 balls for 1,681 yards and a NFC-leading 16 touchdowns.  Johnson remains a late first-round, early second-round draft pick in 2012. - Ryan Fowler

Pick your curse: Madden or Cleveland.  Pick your injury: strep throat or a nagging hamstring.  Hillis rushed for 600 fewer rushing and 300 receiving yards.  His 13 total touchdowns in 2010 were followed up by three trips to the end zone this season - two of which came against the Colts.  He should have hit the circle button more often. - Ryan Fowler

Skittles anyone?  Lynch failed to score in the season finale against the Cardinals, but I think most will forgive and forget.  After all, the Seahawks running back managed to score in the previous 11 games.  His 13 touchdowns (most since 2008) and 1,100-plus rushing yards (most since 2007) were a pleasant surprise out of the Great Northwest. - Ryan Fowler

Chris Johnson may have become the third player in Titans' history to reach 1,000 yards in at least four straight seasons, but he was a dissapointment to fantasy owners who drafted him in the first round.  CJ2K was downgraded to CJ1K in 2011 with only four 100-plus yard rushing performances and four touchdowns.  It will be interesting to see what his average draft position is in 2012. - Ryan Fowler

"Shady" McCoy made a strong case to be the number one fantasy back in 2012.  In 16 games, he rushed for over 1,300 yards with 20 total touchdowns.  His productivity within the Eagles' offense really hurt Michael Vick owners, but along with Ray Rice, McCoy is selling owners on a new-age fantasy back and a way to avoid the RBBC - one that can rush and receive. - Ryan Fowler

Fantasy owners were salivating at the thought that Freeman could improve upon his 25 touchdowns and six intereceptions in 2010.  Instead, those who drafted the Bucs' quarterback were saddled with 19 intereceptions and 14 touchdowns.  Tampa Bay ended the season on a 10-game losing streak.  It will be difficult for Freeman to earn fantasy owners' trust heading into 2012. - Ryan Fowler

You could make a case for either quarterback to be named the top fantasy stud of 2011.  Rodgers gets the edge in my opinion because out of the 502 passing attempts, only six were intercepted.  Plus, when you really place him under the microscope, his mobility and nose for the end zone only adds to his fantasy value.  He's a top-5 pick in 2012. - Ryan Fowler
