| Fantasy Football | 2186 | 98 | Top 10 Fantasy Running Back Sleepers | 11703003 | Steve Slaton, Houston | Fantasy Football | One of my preseason darkhorse candidates for a huge fantasy campaign was Houston rookie Ben Tate. Alas, Tate sustained a season-ending ankle injury in the preseason opener to eliminate one part of the running back tripod. Arian Foster, who shone brightly in Weeks 16 and 17 of 2009, likely assumes the top spot following a strong training camp. He’s a tremendous value at his current ADP, but Tate's injury strips him of the sleeper tag. But, I’m turning my attention to the 2008 Harmon “Man-Crush Award” winner, Steve Slaton. Slaton is returning from a nerve injury that cut his 2009 season short, and we must still be cognizant of his fumbling issue (he fumbled on Saturday). However, he remains a potential threat to force an equitable split of the workload and play a huge role on third downs as a receiver. Slaton is being drafted in the final rounds of early drafts, thereby presenting a potential steal in the potent Houston offense. |

| Fantasy Football | 2186 | 98 | Top 10 Fantasy Running Back Sleepers | 11276504 | Donald Brown, Indianapolis | Fantasy Football | Brown appeared during only 11 games last season because of a shoulder injury and played hurt for much of the year. As such, he was unable to take on the huge role that we anticipated after being drafted from Connecticut. Forty-three of Brown's 89 touches came during the season’s first four games. |

| Fantasy Football | 2186 | 98 | Top 10 Fantasy Running Back Sleepers | 11276433 | Michael Bush, Oakland | Fantasy Football | Bush will take on a much larger role for 2010, as longtime Raider Justin Fargas has been released. He'll split touches with former first-round pick Darren McFadden, who has battled injuries and ineffectiveness during his first two NFL seasons. Bush logged two 100-yard games last season, averaging 4.8 yards for his 123 carries. He also demonstrated some ability as a pass receiver with 17 receptions (19 in 2008). We can reasonably expect a higher number of long, protracted drives with the efficient and accurate Jason Campbell under center. One fact to remember is that the Raiders ranked 10th in rushing offense two years ago. – Mike Harmon |

| Fantasy Football | 2186 | 98 | Top 10 Fantasy Running Back Sleepers | 11276436 | Jonathan Dwyer, Pittsburgh | Fantasy Football | The former ACC Player of the Year joins the Steelers, who vow to return to smash-mouth football in 2010. Willie Parker is gone, leaving Dwyer to battle Mewelde Moore for the backup role. The Steelers will lean on the backfield heavily during the first quarter of the season while Byron Leftwich or Dennis Dixon commands the offense. Dwyer averaged 5.9 yards per carry and scored 14 touchdowns for the Yellow Jackets last season. – Mike Harmon |
