Brandon Lloyd was brought to New England to provide Tom Brady a deep threat in the passing game not seen since Randy Moss.  However, Lloyd has only one game where he's recorded more than 80 receiving yards and only three touchdowns in 11 games.  With Rob Gronkowski injured, Lloyd's fantasy value should receive a boost, but after the Pats built a 35-0 lead in the second quarter, Lloyd became irrelevant in Week 12 with three receptions for 26 yards.  You want to start him, but it doesn't mean you should. - Ryan Fowler

How consistent has Josh Freeman been for fantasy owners this season?  The last time he failed to score 20 fantasy points was Week 4 against Washington.  The last time he failed to throw a touchdown in a game was Week 14 of last season.  Against the Atlanta Falcons, he finished 19-30 for 256 yards with no touchdowns.  Doug Martin did the scoring with two, one-yard plunges into the zone. - Ryan Fowler

Ballard's matchup against the 31st-ranked Bills' rush defense looked GREAT on paper, but they had to go ahead and play the game on a field and ruin all the projections.  The Colts' running back seemed to take a slight lead in the backfield over Donald Brown, but Ballard received 13 carries with Brown getting 10 against the Bills.  Neither running back reached 50 rushing yards on the afternoon as T.Y. Hilton (Week 12 "Start 'em" suggestion) scored twice for the Colts. - Ryan Fowler

After a couple seasons as a backup/practice squad running back in Baltimore, the former Toledo Rocket signed with Jacksonville.  With Maurice Jones-Drew injured, fellow backup back Rashad Jennings was projected to carry the load in MJD's absence, but due to ineffectiveness, Jennings was benched and Parmele earned the promotion to RB1.  So, in his first career start, Parmele rushed for 13 yards on his first carry and was promptly knocked out of the game with a leg injury.  Although he did return and led the Jags in rushing with 45 yards on eight carries, Parmele would re-injure his leg in the fourth and did not return.  He was projected to pick up double-digit fantasy points against the Titans, but did not come close. - Ryan Fowler

Word broke Sunday morning that Knowshon Moreno would be getting the start at running back for the Broncos over Hillman.  It was an odd move considering Moreno had been inactive for every game since Week 2.  Hillman was the most-added fantasy player of the week because Willis McGahee was placed on injured reserve and the Broncos had a solid matchup against the Chiefs' poor rush defense.  Those who thought Hillman would earn a fair amount of touches were burned as the rookie back only received three carries. - Ryan Fowler

It's not sexy, but Russell Wilson could start at quarterback for a good number of fantasy owners.  He's scored 20 or more fantasy points in five out of his last six games.  He's thrown 12 touchdowns and only two interceptions during that stretch.  In a Week 12 loss to Miami, the rookie QB finished 21-27 with two touchdowns. - Ryan Fowler

In his first two seasons at Rutgers, then under current Tampa Bay head coach Greg Schiano, Mohamed Sanu caught 95 balls with five touchdowns.  The rookie receiver now has four touchdowns in his last three games with the Bengals.  The low yardage totals don't scream "must pick up," but in deeper leagues, Sanu has risen to a WR3/4 as a red zone target of Andy Dalton. - Ryan Fowler

When your fantasy quarterback falls behind 28-3 to a pass defense ranked 30th in the NFL, the fantasy gods are smiling down on you.  That's exactly what happened to Tony Romo and the Cowboys on Thanksgiving Day.  So, he started chucking the rock around Jerry's World to the tune of 62 passes.  He completed eight to Dez Bryant who scored twice and racked up 145 yards.  Romo finished with 441 passing yards with three touchdowns and two interceptions.  It's not how owners imagined it, but the 35+ fantasy points are good win, lose or draw (right Donovan?). - Ryan Fowler

After failing to rush for 100 yards in his first nine games with the Bengals, BenJarvus Green-Ellis has now hit the century mark in back-to-back games (yes, yes, vs. KC and OAK) and has three of his five touchdowns on the season coming in the last four games.  However, with Andy Dalton poised in the pocket during the team's three-game winning streak, Green-Ellis remains a matchup-play start.  He's got San Diego next week, which makes him a RB3 out of the FLEX. - Ryan Fowler

With Ben Roethlisberger and Byron Leftwich on the shelf, Pittsburgh turned to veteran Charlie Batch in Week 12 against the Browns.  It's a confidence boost Cleveland, the team and fans, needed against its arch rival.  You could say Big Ben has had the Browns' defense wrapped around his finger his entire career.  Instead, the Steelers' offense was completely out of whack, turning the ball over eight (8!) times with Batch completing three passes to the Browns and five different players fumbling the rock (~21 fantasy points).  Despite the eight turnovers, the Browns only won by six.  Not sure how that happens, but if you've ever watched the Browns play, it shouldn't come as a surprise. - Ryan Fowler
