I'm not sure which is more embarassing, Knowshon Moreno, Cedric Peerman or Vonta Leach boasting as many rushing touchdowns as LeSean McCoy (ADP: fourth overall).  Peerman is making a strong case.  Good news is the Eagles are coming off the BYE when Andy Reid is at his coaching best.  Last year, after the team's Week 7 BYE, McCoy rushed for a season-high 185 yards with two touchdowns against the Cowboys.  This time around McCoy faces the Falcons, who just so happen to struggle against the rush (143.8 yards allowed per game, 23rd).  I realize 99 percent of owners aren't benching McCoy no matter the matchup, but a confident nudget moving forward is always nice, too. - Ryan Fowler

As quickly as Santana Moss lept back into the hearts and minds of fantasy owners in Week 7, I need them to forget about him in Week 8.  With Pierre Garcon's (foot) fantasy future still murky, Moss' fantasy stock the rest of the season is on the rise after two touchdown receptions against the Giants (67 rec. yards).  However, he'll most likely be smothered by Pittsburgh's Ike Taylor this week.  Why does this matter?  Well, Taylor held Cincinnati's A.J. Green to one eight-yard catch last week.  We all love RG3 and know he'll look Moss' way often in the limited Washington passing game, but to expect Week 7 production would be naive.  - Ryan Fowler

Because injuries have plagued him the past two seasons, Hakeem Nicks has watched his fantasy stock downgraded from WR1 to WR2/3 depending on matchup/health status.  If you omit his 199-yard performance against the horrid Buccaneers pass defense, Nicks is only averaging 45 receiving yards his other three games this season.  This week he faces the third-ranked Dallas pass defense.  If possible, I'd look to your bench or waiver for a little help until Nicks irons out his game. - Ryan Fowler

Did you happen to catch the football game on Monday night?  If so, you are cognizant of the fact Chicago's defense is not to be ignored in real and fantasy worlds.  To further the point, Joel Beall pointed out that the Bears' DST is ranked 16th in fantasy points, overall.  An all expenses paid trip to Chicago is the last thing a reeling Carolina offense (22nd-ranked pass offense) needs, yet that's exactly what they'll get Sunday.  Cam Newton, Steve Smith, Jonathan Stewart, DeAngelo Williams, Brandon LaFell, and Greg Olsen should all remain benched in what could be a nasty one-sided matchup. - Ryan Fowler  

As we enter our eighth week together, I'm starting to notice a disturbing trend.  As consistent as my "start suggestions" have been, my "sit suggestions" are starting to trend the other direction.  However, I feel good about benching Malcom Floyd in Week 8.  First, his inconsistent production and recent Philip River meltdowns fail to build my confidence in this offense at the moment.  Second, Joe Haden will most likely cover Floyd, which is usually a strong reason to avoid starting a WR2.  Still, Floyd's name continues to pop up in weekly emails and Twitter/Chatroom questions.  He's on a lot of rosters.  - Ryan Fowler

When it comes to Hayden Panettiere, I shall quote Cleveland Cavs' owner Dan Gilbert's younger son, Nick: "What's not to like?"  Panettiere did have a football connection until boyfriend Scotty McKnight got cut by the New York Jets.  Oh well, her piercing eyes and glowing skin will have to suffice in this week's gallery.  "Save the Cheerleader, Save the World" - Ryan Fowler

The time share between Joel Dreessen and Jacob Tamme is evident on the field with Dreessen finding the end zone more often than Peyton Manning's former tight end in Indy (3 to 1).  However, I think with Manning's tasty matchup against the Saints' pass defense in Week 8, both are worthy of consideration.  Tamme has caught 23 of the 27 balls thrown his direction with a touchdown back in Week 1.  Dreesseen has caught 17 out of 19 with the three scores.  Tamme has racked up 49 more receiving yards than Dreessen this season.  - Ryan Fowler

Lloyd has to cross the pond to face his former team.  For those owners who are frustrated with Lloyd's lone touchdown this season - coming wayyy back in Week 4 - patience is a virtue within the Patriots' offense this season.  First, they are rushing more often than they have in nearly three decades.  So, Stevan Ridley's heavy workload has nicked Lloyd's projected fantasy value.  He's still receiving enough targets (over nine a game) to warrant a start this week. - Ryan Fowler

All systems are GO in Denver Week 8.  With Ray Rice, Arian Foster, Fred Jackson and C.J. Spiller all on BYE this week, McGahee is elevated to a high-end RB2/low-end RB1 with his matchup against the Saints (160.3 rush yards allowed per game).  The running back's 72 rush yards per game rank within the league's top 15 as do his three touchdowns.  However, it's the nine receptions for 93 yards over the last two weeks owners in PPR leagues should take note of as this type of production bumps him up a few notches in weekly rankings. - Ryan Fowler 

The last three quarterbacks to face Tennessee's defense have averaged 282 passing yards, two touchdowns and over an interception a game (with all the passing attempts, one is bound to get picked).  Luck is ranked 10th in passing yards per game with an average of 279 yards per game with seven touchdowns (t-23rd) and seven picks (fourth-most in NFL).  However, his three rushing touchdowns actually place him in the top 12 with all the running backs in the league.  - Ryan Fowler
