Injuries to quarterbacks Tom Brady, Carson Palmer and Matt Hasselbeck left the position thin for many fantasy squads. But young quarterbacks like Philip Rivers and Matt Cassel emerged to help compensate for those losses.
Michael Turner and DeAngelo Williams ascended from backup roles to become the top fantasy stars at running back. Surprise runners like Steve Slaton and Pierre Thomas helped lead many teams to fantasy titles.
Larry Fitzgerald, Andre Johnson and Calvin Johnson have replaced the fading Marvin Harrison, Chad Johnson and Joey Galloway to be fantasy's next generation of superstar wide receivers.
Tony Gonzalez continues to be dominant at the tight end spot, while aging kicker John Carney made a big comeback. Defensively, Philadelphia and Baltimore rise to the top as Dallas descends into disappointment.
Review the top fantasy awards for the past fantasy football season.
