Bengals at Steelers

Time: 1:00 PM ET   Location: Heinz Field - Pittsburgh, PA

STEELERS (6-4-0)

BENGALS (7-3-0)

  Ben Roethlisberger

QB
Roethlisberger and Palmer each have 14 TD passes this year, but Big Ben has Carson by about 460 total passing yards. Roethlisberger reached must-start status some time ago. Play him if you have him.

  Carson Palmer

QB
Palmer has had some good days, great days and mediocre days. But he hasn't had too many poor ones. The good news is he's getting to face the Steelers coming off a short week on the road. Give him a shot.

  Rashard Mendenhall

RB
Mendenhall isn't exactly scoring like crazy, but the good news is he's prety much taken over as Pittsburgh's RB1 for the rest of this season. Play him everywhere.

  Cedric Benson

RB
Ceddy Bear will have his hands full running against this defense, but it's tough to bench someone who is producing as well as he is right now. Just be prepared for a low yardage output. Not too many RBs run wild on the Steelers.

  Mewelde Moore

RB
Moore still has only one touchdown catch this year, but he hasn't rushed for one, nor does he have 100 total yards on the ground this season. An easy pass.

  Brian Leonard

RB
Leonard catches a screen pass here and there, but doesn't really factor into the offense enough to be a fantasy contributor. Pass.

  Hines Ward

WR
After all these years, he's still a start you have to make every week. He has a chance to go for 100 yards or a score on every week, and sometimes he'll do both.

  Chad Ochocinco

WR
He's Palmer's go-to guy and is having a lot of fun again this year. His mindset seems to be directly proportional to his his fantasy production. An easy weekly play.

  Mike Wallace

WR
Wallace seems to be earning more catches as the season progreses, and it's gotten to the point where he really shouldn't be on anyone's waiver wire at this point. He's not an auto-start, but he's getting there.

  Laveranues Coles

WR
Coles has started to become more of a factor in this offense and may be a decent pickup in deeper leagues. It'd certainly be nice to see him score a few TDs, but he's not a terrible yardage guy.

  Santonio Holmes

WR
His 590 total receiving yards aren't bad, but he's been stuck on one touchdown catch for a long time this season. That really limits his value in a number of leagues.

  Andre Caldwell

WR
With Chris Henry done for the year, Caldwell may get more than his usual 30 yards per week. He seems to pop up with an important TD reception every so often, though. Not a bad deeper play.

  Heath Miller

TE
Miller had just three receptions for 18 yards against the Broncos. When he's good, he's really good. But then he can turn around and post a miserable performance like that just as easily. Start him, but be prepared for the inconsistency.

  J.P. Foschi

TE
I've never recommended playing any Bengals tight end in three years, and I'm not going to start now. The entire unit is bench fodder for sure.

  Jeff Reed

K
He's 9-for-12 this year, but from longer range is where his accuracy has been dicey. You're never in a bad position starting Reed when he kicks at home, though.

  Shayne Graham

K
The last meeting between these two clubs was highly entertaining and down to the wire. Graham will surely get a few attempts in a game that might come down to which kicker is more accurate.

  Steelers
D/ST
The Steelers typically use their defense to win ball games, but they're pretty efficient on both sides of the ball this year. They may have something of a challenge in stopping this offense, but they should still be started.

  Bengals
D/ST
This is a really difficult play, because the Bengals defense is talented, but the Steelers offense seemed to flip a switch in the second half at Denver. Proceed with caution here.
