Ravens at Browns

Time: 8:30 PM ET   Location: Cleveland Browns Stadium - Cleveland, OH

BROWNS (1-9-0)

RAVENS (5-5-0)

  Brady Quinn

QB
Quinn has been named the starter, and it'll probably be for the rest of the season. There isn't much pressure on him since the season is already shot, so I wonder if Eric Mangini will let it fly and find out whether he needs to go QB shopping this offseason.

  Joe Flacco

QB
Flacco emerged from a phone booth wearing a red cape and a big S on his shirt to start the season, but he has slowed down in a big way recently. You have got to start him and any other QB facing the Browns nowadays, though.

  Jamal Lewis

RB
Lewis has basically questioned the identity of the entire franchise, which isn't a good thing. Will he be motivated to play hard against his old team, or is he looking to go through the motions and finish out the year? A borderline start at best.

  Ray Rice

RB
Rice scored a touchdown, but only managed to post 48 rushing yards against the Browns earlier this year, which is a surprise. He has to be started here. It's hard to imagine he won't have a better game this time around.

  Jerome Harrison

RB
Harrison will get a few carries here and there, but probably not enough of them to have a great fatnasy day. Pass.

  Willis McGahee

RB
McGahee's fantasy value came to such an abrupt end that you probably couldn't get anything if you tried trading him, so feel free to waive him.

  Joshua Cribbs

WR
Cribbs' value is on special teams, not in the offense. The Browns don't have the right tools to run the wildcat scheme with Cribbs, either. Pass.

  Mark Clayton

WR
Clayton is a nice receiver, but he's been incredibly inconsistent throughout his career. Too much of his yardage is bunched up into a small sample size of games. You can't play him right now.

  Mohamed Massaquoi

WR
The rookie continues to develop. He's going to be a pretty good WR1 some day, but that won't happen this year. The potential is there for a big game at times, though.

  Kelley Washington

WR
Washington is a talented receiver who just seems to be in an offense that doesn't utilize him enough. That said, leave him on the bench yet again.

  Mike Furrey

WR
Furrey is a possession guy who might get 40 yards in a game if you're lucky. If that is a big help for your team, then I worry for your league.

  Derrick Mason

WR
Mason gets plenty of catches. That is something you don't have to worry about. It's the touchdowns you have to think about since he doesn't score an overwhelming amount of them. Play him, but don't expect miracles.

TE
No player in this position.
  Todd Heap

TE
He's not really an elite tight end any more, but he's certainly a servicable one. Should be started and played, although you'd have hoped he'd have more than just two TDs coming into this game.

  Phil Dawson

K
The story on Dawson has been the same for a while: he's money from inside 40, but sketchy from beyond that. He's expected to return from injury this week. Not a bad guy to own, actually. It's just a matter of how many chances he'll get.

  Browns
D/ST
They've either come up huge when it really matters or inexplicably collapsed at the worst possible time with the offense leaving them in so many bad spots. They'll get better, but they aren't there yet. Pass.

This defense may not be as dominant as they once were, but the Browns offense will basically sink themselves and make mistakes along the way. The Ravens are a must-start in this spot.
