The draft can be the most important part of your season. As a result, the Draft page is your center for all draft related information. Here you can learn all about your upcoming draft by checking out FOX Fantasy Football's draft application format, researching the best draft picks, sleepers, and flops. Pre-rank your Live or Automated draft, view your league's Offline draft picks, all you need to have a successful draft is right here.
Draft Application
The live draft application provides a dynamic workspace throughout the draft process. The available player list is provided on the right hand side of the application and can be sorted by ranking, alphabetic order, or by numerous stat categories and positions. Players may be selected and placed in the "Pending" table, in order to queue your next picks. The draft app will select the top player in your pending queue if the time for your pick expires. The "Autopick" box may be checked or unchecked if you'd rather the computer choose from your pending players list, or from pre-draft rankings. Beneath the clock, all of the other owner's teams are displayed. By clicking an owner's name, their respective picks will be displayed in the lower left of the page. The Live Chat function in the lower right hand portion of the application provides an area to see updates as the draft progresses, as well as which players other owners draft each round. And of course it can be used for a little draft-time trash talking to the other owners in your league!
Draft Order
Knowing when you have your first selection and who will be available to you once you get your first crack at a pick is an important aspect of your draft strategy. As a result, the draft order page allows users to view the order in which picks will be made for your draft. Commissioners of private leagues also have the opportunity to change this order however they see fit.
Draft Rankings
The Draft Rankings section of your Draft page is a vital tool in preparing for your live or automated draft. Use FOX Fantasy's default player rankings to help pick your players or you can customize this list by placing the players you want higher up the ranking ladder. If you are using an automated draft or want the computer to pick in your absence during a Live draft, the system will select players based on your rankings. Participants also have the ability to import their draft rankings from any other Fox Fantasy Football team they own.
Average Live Draft Position
Average Live Draft Position is a great way of figuring out which players are the most popular draft picks for the current NFL season. The page displays the average live draft pick number for each player derived from all live drafts in FOX Fantasy Football. So, if you have the 12th pick in your league's live draft you can see which players may be available around that time.
