FOX FANTASY FOOTBALL HELP
Fantasy Football Basics
Ever dreamed of being the GM and coach of a pro Football team? Ever wanted to have complete control of drafting players, signing free agents, making trades, and deciding the fate of a possible championship team? Well Fantasy Football allows you to do just that, and better yet, you can compete in your own league with family, friends, or co-workers.

Choose your roster of NFL stars and watch every week as they try to tackle, throw, and run your team to victory. Create up to five teams, all for free! When they score, you score. Start him, bench him, trade him, it's up to you - you're in charge.

What is FOX Fantasy Football?
FOX Fantasy Football is designed to help you create and manage your very own fantasy league online.

It doesn't matter if you're a seasoned fantasy football veteran or a rookie; fantasy football is always fun, easy, and exciting to play. In private leagues one person, "The Commissioner," (think Roger Goodell or David Stern) sets up all the rules of the league including roster settings, the scoring system and the playoff format. More importantly, they invite others to join the league as team owners. But if you're new to the game and just trying to get your feet wet, public leagues are also available that are preset to FOX Sports default rules of play.

Whether in a public or private league, when the season begins, Fox Sports Fantasy Football does all the number crunching for you. We will keep track of every team's rosters, the scoring of games, league standings, and much more. You are left with the personnel decisions: who to start, who to sit, who to trade, and how to win.

What makes Fantasy Football games so popular? Why should I play?
More than 10 million people play Fantasy Football games each year, but why? Here are a few reasons:
  1. It's easy to play - You're a Football fan, right? Well, then you already know the game.
  2. You get to own your own team! That's right, you create a team of actual NFL players. You decide who to start, who to sit, who to trade…everything!
  3. It makes being a fan more fun - Sure you have a team that you root for every week. But imagine how much more fun it would be if your office or home bragging rights were on the line, and you actually had a say in the game.
  4. It's competitive! Let's face it; sports fans are competitive by nature. Unless you want to strap on the pads and face a 300 pound lineman, fantasy football games are the perfect outlet to get the competitive juice flowing. Can you think of anything better than beating your brother? Or your best friend? Or your boss? We didn't think so.
  5. Fantasy Football games are addictive (in a good way, trust us) - Play it once and you'll be hooked.

What is the fantasy schedule like and how much time do I need to commit to it?
Fantasy Football tracks each of your player's games right along with the NFL schedule. Each week your team will compete through a head-to-head format against another team from your league (just like NFL). The team that scores the most points based on their players' performance that week wins the game.

Your time commitment is really up to you. There are some owners who only spend a few minutes a week setting their starting lineups and checking stats for their players. Others spend hours pouring over free agents, trade possibilities, and roster moves. No matter what, at the end of the day, it's all about having fun.

What are the costs for FOX Fantasy Football?
The best part of FOX Fantasy Football may be the price. Create or join up to five leagues, get live scoring and NFL action, all for free. We do all the work! Spend your time, not your money with FOX Fantasy Sports.

Are there league prizes for FOX Fantasy Football?
Currently, there are no prizes awarded in FOX Fantasy football leagues. But remember, you are fighting to win your league's championship and all the bragging rights over friends, colleagues, and game players from across the globe that comes with it.
