The Draft
What type of draft should I use?
There are three basics draft types for FOX Fantasy Football: Live Draft, Automated Draft, and Offline Draft.

Live Draft: The live online draft is one of the best parts of the Fantasy Football season. Just like a real draft, your fantasy draft pits you against the other team owners in your league in a live Football draft situation. You and the other members of your league join your Live Online Draft Room application at the specified time (chosen during league creation), and make your picks in real-time. The Online Draft Room keeps track of the time for each pick, each team's roster, and which team is currently on the clock. In the event that one or more owners cannot make your scheduled Live Draft Time, their picks will be made automatically by the computer based on those owners' pre-draft player rankings.

How Live Drafts Work
Once the draft begins, the Owner with the first pick in the draft will be on the clock. The Owner must draft a player before the allotted time runs out. Once a player is drafted the Owner who picks next is on the clock. The draft order follows a ladder or "snake" order of drafting. In a 12 team league the first round order would be Team 1, Team 2, Team 3…etc. In the second round, the order would reverse and would be Team 12, Team 11, Team 10…etc.

As the draft progresses you will be able to see each team in your league fill out its roster. Feel free to offer up your opinion of draft selections in the chat room within the Live Draft application.

Automated Draft: In an Automated draft the drafting is handled for you by the FOX Sports automated draft process. All picks for each team in the league are made by the computer based on each team's pre-draft player rankings. The order behaves just like a live draft (see above) with the computer drafting a player for one team and then drafting a player for the next team based on the remaining players. If you select an Automated draft be sure to set your player rankings so you have a better chance of getting the players you want.

Offline Draft: If you're able to get everyone in your league together in person for your draft, an Offline Draft is the best way to draft. Nothings better than calling our your friends' poor draft selection to their face. During and offline draft your league Commissioner keeps track of the players drafted to each team. After the draft is complete, the Commissioner enters the results into the game using the Offline Draft Tools.

How many teams do I need in my League in order to draft?
FOX Fantasy Football requires a minimum of at least 4 teams in order for a league to draft, and you must have an even amount of teams. If you have a live draft scheduled and do not have the required amount of owners, your league's draft will automatically reset to offline so that you can reschedule with at least four. If you wish to fill out your Private league and cannot find any more friends or family to join, try the Publish League option.

Can I edit the draft order?
Any time until 24 hours before your draft you will be able to adjust your draft order. To do so, just go to commissioner tools, select "Edit Draft Order" under the Draft Management section. Here you will be given the option of choosing a random draft order or manually changing the order yourself. To manually change the order, place the number for each owner in which you would like that owner to select. For instance, the first pick would receive a number one; the second pick receives a number two, etc.

Where do I enter my leagues' offline draft results?
Visit the Commish Tools and click on the Offline Draft Results link under Draft Management. From here, follow the instructions to enter your league's offline draft results.

How do I reset the draft?
If you need to reset your draft and start over, just visit your Commish Tools page and click the Reset Draft button below Draft Management.
