Playoff Seeds/Options
How are playoff seeds determined?
Whether your league's playoffs are set to include two, four, six, or eight teams, the top seeds from each division automatically make the playoffs. The remaining teams that make the playoffs are chosen by best record, regardless of division standings. If your league has only one division, then the teams with the best records make the playoffs.

In the event of a tie between teams trying to make the playoffs, the following regular season tiebreakers will be applied:

  1. Overall winning percentage.
  2. Fantasy points scored.
  3. Fantasy points scored in Week 17.
  4. Fantasy points scored in Week 16.
  5. Fantasy points scored in Week 15.
  6. Fantasy points scored in Week 14.
  7. Fantasy points scored in Week 13.
  8. Fantasy points scored in Week 12.
  9. Fantasy points scored in Week 11.
  10. Fantasy points scored in Week 10.
  11. Fantasy points scored in Week 9.
  12. Fantasy points scored in Week 8.
  13. Fantasy points scored in Week 7.
  14. Fantasy points scored in Week 6.
  15. Fantasy points scored in Week 5.
  16. Fantasy points scored in Week 4.
  17. Fantasy points scored in Week 3.
  18. Fantasy points scored in Week 2.
  19. Fantasy points scored in Week 1.

How can the commissioner edit playoff seeding?
Edit Playoff Seeds is a feature that allows commissioners in private leagues to change the playoff seeds in their league, and is available during the week leading up to the playoffs. Whether you wish to change the playoff order or simply choose who does and doesn't make the playoffs, Edit Playoff Seeds tool will help you set your post season to your preference.

How it works:

If you are the commissioner of your league and wish to make changes to your playoff seeds, simply sign in to your league and go to your Commish Tools page. From there click "Edit Playoff Seeds". You can now rank the teams in your league, ranking the teams according to their seed. For instance, the top ranked team would receive a "1" next to their team name.

NOTE: Once the playoffs begin these values can not be changed.

Can the commissioner adjust the scoring system during the playoffs?
Yes. The Adjust Scores feature can still be used during playoff time for each playoff matchup. Commissioners will be unable to change regular season point totals once playoffs begin, however, and are only able to adjust playoff point totals for the current week that they have just finished. Once that week rolls over to the next round of playoffs, changes to that past week can no longer be made.
