1st and 5

• The once sort-of retired Brett Favre reportedly changed his mind about what to do with his life more than once, and the ugly divorce ultimately saw him land in New York. It's painful to watch athletes who don't know how to bow out gracefully, but Rodgers looked pretty sharp in his time under center in 2007. He's an intriguing guy to keep your eye on this summer.

• Some expected Jackson to be Green Bay's breakout star in the backfield, but it was Grant who came out of nowhere to become a bonafide No. 1 fantasy back late in the year. Grant finished the season with 956 yards and eight touchdowns on the ground. Both of those numbers will surely improve this year since he'll be the starter from the get-go.

• Driver only found the end zone twice in 2007, which really limited his fantasy value. He also had 82 receptions for 1,048 yards, which wasn't bad. But all of those numbers in each of those categories ended up being his worst since 2003, which may be cause for some concern.

• Lee was something of a sleeper last year as he caught six touchdown passes and had 575 receiving yards. He also had some playoff-timely touchdowns in Weeks 14 and 15. With Franks out of the way, Lee's value increases some.

• Crosby's accuracy was iffy, but he was only a rookie in 2007 and did manage to boot through a nice volume of 31 field-goal conversions. He also had a career-high of 53 yards. If the Packers offense can keep scoring, Crosby should produce another solid year in 2008.

Draft

Most pundits claimed wide receiver Jordy Nelson wouldn't be taken before the fourth round, but the Packers snapped him up rather early in the second. He should at least be another reliable weapon as Rodgers gets used to being the full-time starter.

Off-season moves

Key additions: QB Bell

Key subtractions: QB Favre, QB Dalton Bell, TE Bubba Franks, WR Koren Robinson, DT Corey Williams
