Btw... look out for Martellus Bennett!! Mark my words... Go Cowboys!! Anthony Fasano should be way higher on the list, too.

I'm loving this list right now, with Jason Witten ranked #1... shout out to Doomsday!! Dallas Cowboys are a force to be wreckoned with!! I have to agree with the tarheels fan, tho...but We will be the champs, and Jason will earn the top spot when it's all said and done...

TE's went too soon in my drafts last year and I took Greg Olsen which would have possibly been tolerable if he hadn't got hurt at the season's start - I ended up trading Marion Barber, who was on my bench, for Kellen Winslow. This year, if the top 10 go too fast, Donald Lee and now the Jet's Dustin Keller seem like good fall-back late-round picks this year. If you look at Bubba Franks since 2004, he hasn't put up many points with Favre as his QB. Since Keller was drafted as a receiving TE, he has much more upside to me.

If the Steelers would actually use Heath more, he would be THE best, he is amazing, but i wont complain with 9th, i thought he would get less respect than that actually

HwnLprcn.....If you go by history (active players) Tony Gonzales would be at the top. He will own all records in the history of the NFL this year. (9 straight pro bowls)

In the past 3 or 4 years, I would put Gates at the top.

Shockey should be at least in top 10

HwnLprcn if you were to go by history than Tony would be your number one. Over his career he has been one of the greatest of all times, but with that said over the past 5 years Witten has improved every year and making the pro bowl team. Not to mention last year making ever other TE look like school girls. Roger your list is right on.

Obviously HwnLprcn doesnt know football..why don't you check Witten's stats..4 pro bowls moron..He can block well got great hands and can run great routes

Jason Witten has been to 4 consecutive Pro Bowls. He had 97 catches for over 1,000 yards last year. You should check the stats.

roger again i dont see how you suddenly see how whitten is the best te - he had one good year and now he is #1 - i dont think so infact if you go on history of players doing well every yr. he might break the top 10 - this is how its done:

1) gates
2) gonzalez
3) d. clark
4) c. cooley
5) h. miller
6) b. watson
7) crumpler
8) heap
9) shockey
10) l.j. smith
11) whitten

you cant go by one yr. - thats crazy
