The 2008 National Collegiate Bass Championship Series is airing every Wednesday at 8pm ET on FCS Central. Check it out!

The 2008 National Collegiate Bass Championship rocked Lewisville this year with the biggest field in its three-year history. At the end of the third day, it was Arkansas' Bodie Drake and Kazuki Kitajima that took the title and trophy home to Fayetteville.

The other four teams that made the final day were Baylor, Texas Tech, Texas A&M — Kingsville and defending champion Texas A&M. Who knew home-field advantage would find its place in bass fishing?

The fishing duo of Drake and Kitajima brought in five bass on the final day of competition weighing a total of 17.37 pounds. Texas A&M's Justin Rackley and Andy Shafer were right behind them with five fish weighing in at 16.00 pounds.

Stay tuned throughout the fall for the latest on all the next bass fishing tournaments in the country.
