Wilder suffered a concussion in the first half of Florida State's 51-14 win over Clemson on Saturday.
“He was very close (to being able to play)," Fisher said. “They re-examined him today. You can't risk those things."
Wilder, a junior, is third on the No. 2 Seminoles (6-0) with 226 rushing yards and two touchdowns.
Without Wilder, FSU will lean on Devonta Freeman (469 yards, four touchdowns) and Karlos Williams (263 yards, six touchdowns). True freshman Ryan Green could also see more playing time.
