Add another honor to LeBron James' resume.
The Miami Heat forward was named Eastern Conference Player of the Month for December, it was announced Friday.
James averaged 24.6 points, 8.1 rebounds, 6.9 assists and 1.64 steals while leading the Heat to a 11-4 record in the final month of 2013. He also shot 58.1 percent.
The King had three double-doubles and two 20-10-5 games. He also led Miami in scoring 11 times, in minutes and assists 10 times each, in rebounds and steals five times each and in blocks twice.
James also extended his streak of scoring in double figures, which now stands at 526 consecutive games. That tied him for the fourth-longest such streak in league history.
It was the 21st time a Heat player had earned the monthly award and the 11th time for James since he joined Miami.
