Report: Blake Bortles to leave UCF early to enter NFL Draft

After leading UCF to a Fiesta Bowl victory to cap off the best season in school history, quarterback Blake Bortles will forgo his final season of eligibilty and enter the NFL Draft, according to an Orlando Sentinel report.
The redshirt junior ranks fourth all-time at UCF in passing yardage and was also a threat on the ground, rushing for 561 career yards and 15 touchdowns.
Bortles' performance down the stretch saw him rocket up mock draft boards and rankings, with ESPN's Todd McShay writing that he could be selected among the top five picks. Former Vikings quarterback Daunte Culpepper is the only UCF alum to have been drafted in the first round, when he was picked 11th in 1999 by Minnesota.
