Lahm not looking to leave Bayern
Bayern Munich defender Philipp Lahm has indicated he would be happy to extend his contract with the German Bundesliga giants.
Lahm, who is under contract at the Allianz Arena until 2012, has been linked with a move away from Bayern with a host of Europe's top clubs credited with an interest in the full-back.
However, Lahm insists he sees no reason to leave Bayern and has invited the club to offer him a new long-term contract.
"There is no reason to move on, if you are on the right track such as we are," Lahm told Sport1. "And as long as I see that we are making progress I find no use in moving clubs.
"This is my home city, this is my home club. I want to play football in European cup competitions.
"This has been a fact last season and will hopefully be so in the future as well."
