Anderlecht twice came from behind to draw 2-2 at Group C winner Malaga on Tuesday but failed to earn a Europa League spot because Zenit St. Petersburg won.

Malaga captain Duda made it 1-0 in the 45th minute of the Champions League match with a powerful shot into the top of the net after receiving a cross from Sebastian ''Seba'' Fernandez.

Milan Jovanovic equalized in the 50th by pouncing on a loose ball and hitting it over `keeper Carlos Kameni.

Malaga went ahead again in the 61st when Duda's low shot went under `keeper Silvio Proto and inside the far post. But Dieudonne Mbokani leveled for Anderlecht in the 90th.

Zenit won 1-0 at AC Milan to seal third spot.

Malaga and Milan had already qualified for the last 16.
