Juve announce roster for EL
Juventus have announced their Europa League roster with recent signings Alberto Aquilani and Fabio Quagliarella excluded from the team.
Italian midfielder Aquilani joined the Turin giants last month from Liverpool on loan but having played for the Reds outfit in the competition, he is not eligible to play for Juve.
Quagliarella was also involved in European action with Napoli over the summer before being loaned to Juve for the rest of the season.
One player also missing from the 24-man squad is Italy goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon.
Buffon underwent herniated disc surgery in July and will be sidelined until December with Alex Manninger to serve as his replacement.
Juve coach Luigi Del Neri will be boosted in the competition by the addition of French defender Armand Traore.
Traore joined the Serie A giants on a season-loan deal from Arsenal.
Juve, twice European champions and three times victors in the competition formerly known as the UEFA Cup, will face Manchester City, Salzburg and Lech Poznan in Group A.
