Sevilla: Fabiano out until mid-January at least
Share This Story
Sevilla team doctor Juan Ribas says that Luis Fabiano's return date is not yet set but that "if all goes well, he'll be available by the middle or end of January."
The Brazil striker is in Sao Paulo recovering from the right foot injury he picked up in a league match on Dec. 5.
Luis Fabiano looks certain to miss the first leg of the club's Copa del Rey matchup against defending champion Barcelona, which is scheduled for Jan. 5.
Luis Fabiano has scored 12 goals in all competitions this season, helping Sevilla reach the knockout round of the Champions League.
