Real Betis scored four times in the second half to earn a 4-2 win at Getafe on Monday and climb to fourth place in the Spanish league.
After a scoreless and finely balanced first half, substitute Jorge Molina broke the deadlock in the 59th minute for his fourth goal of the campaign.
Diego Castro equalized in the 68th for the hosts after receiving a cross from Francisco Alcacer, but Benat Etxebarria restored Betis' lead with a spectacular free kick in the 74th that sailed out of reach of Getafe goalkeeper Miguel Moya.
Ruben Castro made it 3-1 just two minutes later when he shot across the goal-mouth to hit the inside of the left post.
Leon pulled a goal back for Getafe in the 90th but Salva Sevilla netted for Betis in injury time to put the game beyond doubt.
The best chance in the first half had come when Getafe forward Alvaro Vazquez forced an athletic punch-out save from Betis goalkeeper Adrian San Miguel del Castillo in the third minute after controlling a long pass along the right flank from Xavier Torres.
Some 600 Betis fans had travelled the 530 kilometers (330 miles) north from Seville to noisily support their team at the Coliseum Alfonso Perez stadium on Madrid's outskirts.
