Sneijder will not be pressured
MILAN
Inter Milan playmaker Wesley Sneijder insists he will not rush a decision on his future, despite pressure from others.
The Nerazzurri are keen to move the Dutchman off the wage bill, while suitors Galatasaray are anxious for an answer regarding their offer for the player.
But Sneijder claims he is in no hurry to move before the end of the January transfer window.
"All players on the move in this transfer window must decide what to do and where to go by the end of January. I'll do the same," Sneijder told Gazzetta dello Sport.
"I am in no hurry and I don't want to rush this decision."
The 28-year-old is enduring an ignominious end to his stay at Inter after playing a huge role in the club ending a 45-year wait to become champions of Europe again in 2010.
And it is for that reason, rather than financial ones, that Sneijder claims he will not be pushed into the wrong move when he is not ready to decide.
"After what has happened in the last few months, in the context of having made football history with my team-mates, well, I don't want to feel pressured," he added.
"After what I did, I don't want to feel this way - practically obliged to make such an important step in my life in a short space of time.
"It's not a money matter."
