Yanga-Mbiwa signs new contract

Montpellier defender Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa has ended speculation over his future by signing a new deal at the club.
Yanga-Mbiwa has been linked with a host of clubs, including Arsenal, Newcastle and AC Milan after impressing for club and country for the last 12 months.
The 23-year-old's previous deal was due to expire at the end of the season, but Montpellier have now agreed a new two-year deal with the central defender.
A club statement read: "Montpellier and the club's board are very pleased to announce the contract extension of captain Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa.
"His deal was due to expire in June 2013, but the France international has chosen to continue the adventure here for a further two seasons. He is now linked to MHSC until June 2015."
