Suazo staying with Monterrey

Chile striker Humberto Suazo says he is staying with Mexican club Monterrey after failing to negotiate a transfer to Boca Juniors.

Suazo has been training for the last three weeks with Monterrey's youth team, refusing to join the top club while he tried to work out a move away from Mexico.

He is returning to the first team this week and has offered an apology to teammates.

Suazo has played with Monterrey since 2007 and has scored 70 goals in 132 matches in the Mexican league. He also played briefly on loan with Spanish club Zaragoza.
