D.C. United have signed midfielder Marcelo Saragosa, who returns to MLS after two seasons in Azerbaijan.
The 30-year-old Brazilian will be playing for his fourth MLS club. He played in 116 games with the Los Angeles Galaxy, FC Dallas and Chivas USA from 2004-10.
Saragosa left MLS following the 2010 season to play in the Azerbaijan first division, first with FC Absheron and then with Ravan Baku.
United announced the signing Monday.
