Alex Song admits to Barcelona interest
Alex Song has insisted he is happy at Arsenal amid claims he could be set to leave the club.
Reports from Spain claim Barcelona have made a €15million (£11.7million) bid for him, whilst Russian giants Zenit St Petersburg are also believed to be keen.
Song has two-years left on his current deal at the Emirates, but Sky Sports understands he would like to extend that.
The Cameroon international has now told Sky Sports that he has heard of interest in him, but insists he remains happy in North London.
"I am not going to lie if I said there is no interest but I am at Arsenal and I am happy at Arsenal," he told Sky Sports.
"Barcelona are the best team in the world, and speculation will always continue until the window closes."
Song is now considering his options, but it is understood he would like to talk with Arsenal about an extension - before looking to leave.
In the last few years, Song - who joined Arsenal back in 2005 from Basta - has emerged as one of the best defensive midfielders in the Premier League.
