Mario Balotelli stood up by Nicki Minaj
Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli usually doesn’t get rejected on or off the field of play. Apparently Nicki Minaj didn’t receive the memo and snubbed a rendezvous with the Italian star by opting for a late dinner at Nando's.
According to Metro, Minaj refused to meet the Manchester City star before her Pink Friday: Reloaded concert at Manchester Evening News (MEN) Arena on Monday. Balotelli attended the concert with his Manchester City teammates.
“Mario was gutted, “ Metro reports a source told the Sun. “He’s a big fan and turned up with gifts along with his other Man City teammates.”
“But Nicki was too tired after the gig and feasted on a massive Nando’s order instead – so he went home disappointed. He’d even bought a camera especially.”
Minaj plans to do another show at the MEN Arena on Nov. 2.
Information from NESN was used in this report.
