Aberdeen plan to appeal the red card issued to defender Russell Anderson in Saturday's match at Inverness.
Anderson was given his marching orders for bringing down Shane Sutherland inside the box and Richie Foran converted the resulting penalty for the opening goal in Saturday's 1-1 Clydesdale Bank Premier League draw.
A statement on the club's official website read: "After reviewing video evidence this morning, the club can confirm it will be appealing the red card given to Russell Anderson during the game with Inverness CT on Saturday."
