St Mirren expect to have Newcastle midfielder Conor Newton available for their SPL game against Kilmarnock as they push through a loan deal.
Newton's Newcastle team-mate, Paul Dummett, is also available after the left-back extended his loan deal.
Midfielder Kenny McLean will miss the game after undergoing minor knee surgery.
Kilmarnock are expected to be without Manuel Pascali and Mohamadou Sissoko at St Mirren Park.
Pascali (hamstring) and Sissoko (ankle) missed the draw at Motherwell on Saturday.
Danny Racchi, Garry Hay and William Gros remain on the sidelines.
