Ranieri, who guided Roma to finish runners-up in Serie A last season, is under contract with the Eternal City outfit until June 2011.

"I will renew my contract but I am not in a hurry," said Ranieri.

"There's no urgency. Soon everything will be done."

The former Chelsea manager joined Roma in September 2009 and is satisfied with the experience so far.

"Rome is my city," said Ranieri. "There is a project at Roma and I am proud that (club president Rosella) Sensi included me in it.

"I want to continue this adventure with Roma."
