France coach Laurent Blanc has dropped former captain Patrice Evra and midfielder Florent Malouda for the team's European Championship match against Ukraine on Friday.

Gael Clichy takes Evra's place at left back and Jeremy Menez starts on the right wing, with Samir Nasri dropping down to right midfield in the Group D match.

Alou Diarra keeps his place in the center of a three-man midfield despite Yann M'Vila being available to play.

France goes into the game looking for its first win at Euro 2012 after an opening 1-1 draw with England.
