Holloway returns to football coaching at Millwall

Ten weeks after quitting Premier League side Crystal Palace, Ian Holloway is returning to football management at second-tier Millwall.

The London club says in a statement released Monday that it has reached a deal with Holloway, who will take up his new position this week.

One of English football's most charismatic coaches, Holloway guided Palace back into the Premier League for this season after an eight-year absence. He resigned in October, saying he was worn out and didn't have the experience at the highest level.

The 50-year-old Holloway has also managed Blackpool in the Premier League.

Millwall is one point and one place above the relegation zone in the League Championship.
