American forward Eddie Johnson has scored his first goal in Greece for Aris - off a pass from teammate Freddy Adu.

Adu set up a long lob for Johnson, who dribbled past Xanthi goalkeeper Michael Gspurning to score one minute into overtime.

Xanthi won Sunday's game 2-1 despite a chance two minutes later by Adu, who shot wide off a pass in the penalty area. It was Johnson's second game with Aris, and Adu's first

The 25-year-old Johnson has been loaned to Aris through June from England's Fulham.

Johnson left Major League Soccer's Kansas City Wizards to sign with Fulham in January 2008, then was loaned to Cardiff City for the 2008-09 season.
