Sunil Gulati has been unanimously re-elected to a second four-year term as president of the U.S. Soccer Federation.

Gulati succeeded Bob Contiguglia in March 2006.

A member of Columbia University's economics department, Gulati also heads the U.S. bid to host the World Cup in 2018 or 2022. He helped put together the successful bid that brought the 1994 World Cup to the United States, and he was executive vice president and chief international officer of the U.S. organizers for the tournament.

The vote was Saturday at the USSF's annual general meeting.
