Does Manchester United still need to sign a 'big-name' player this summer?

Supply and demand: Sure, Manchester United has gone out and purchased England star Michael Owen from Newcastle and Antonio Valencia from Wigan, but these are hardly the 'big-name' superstars one expects to see at Old Trafford. With Real Madrid snatching all the transfer thunder by signing the Red Devils' Ronaldo, Kaka from Milan and Karim Benzema from Lyon, only a handful of superstars remain available in the transfer market, but the two-time defending Premier League champions are still loaded with enough talent to repeat domestically and go far in Europe. Does Manchester United still need to sign a 'big-name' player this summer?
