Kensington Golf Country Club tripled its pleasure to start off 2009.
There were holes-in-one
on the first three days of the year - two of them on No. 5. And
there was a fourth on No. 5 on Tuesday.
Claudia Schaltegger began 2009 with an ace on No. 5, then Steve Manley made a hole-in-one on No. 14 on Jan. 2. Stephanie Portman followed with the second ace on No. 5 on Jan. 3, and Kay Miller made one on No. 5 on Tuesday.
While that was going on at Kensington, Andy Fowler accomplished another rarity - a hole-in-one on a par-4. Fowler used his driver to ace the 300-yard No. 8 at Links of Naples on Jan. 2.
