Mickelson was up to his tricky shots again over the weekend, patching together something at the Presidents Cup that’s usually only attempted on a mini golf dare. Stuck with a finicky lie on one hole, Mickelson schemed bouncing his ball off a tree and across a pond before settling for one better — he looped the ball around the tree with some incredible twisting action and then bounced it off the water and onto the fringe.
That’s right. Mickelson is now bouncing shots off water.
And as can be seen by his wink at the camera beforehand, he totally knew what he was getting into.
