SERIES: 22nd meeting. Seahawks lead series, 12-9. Seattle has won eight consecutive games in the series since the Rams won all three games in 2004, including a playoff victory in Seattle. The Seahawks have won the last two games in Seattle by a combined score of 70-19. KEYS TO THE GAME: Rams coach Steve Spagnuolo wants a physical line plowing holes for RB Steven Jackson. In an effort to hold up better in the trenches, the Seahawks improved their depth and will rotate several linemen. Rams QB Marc Bulger has a young receiving corps and hasn't played since injury his pinky in the first preseason game, but the Seahawks are minus top CB Marcus Trufant (back). Seattle is also without left tackle Walter Jones (knee) and center Chris Spencer (thigh) on offense. As good as QB Matt Hasselbeck looked during the preseason, Seattle doesn't want to expose him to big hits and wants to get RBs Julius Jones and Edgerrin James untracked early. FAST FACTS: The Rams lost their six NFC West games by an average of 15.3 points last season. They've lost 10 consecutive divisional games overall. ...
