Position: College: California-Davis Height: 6-2 Weight: 225 Bench press: 300 pounds Fun fact: Holds virtually all of UC-Davis' passing records, including career marks with 669 completions of 1,070 passes (62.5 percent) for 10,745 yards, 96 touchdowns and 11,544 yards in total offense Hometown: Folsom, Calif. O'Sullivan is an interesting prospect from Division II California-Davis. He has started the past three seasons and led D-II in 2000 in passing efficiency. Like all Division II players, it is hard to get a read on his abilities, as it is unknown if he is playing above his competition. O'Sullivan is a heady and hard working player. He is willing to put in the time in the film room and weight room to do what it takes to succeed. He is a team leader and knows how to win. He is a good athlete who knows how to scramble and, more importantly, how to throw on the run. He is a good runner but does not have great speed, which means he might get caught once he is in the NFL. O'Sullivan does seem to know that he is a step above his competition, as he makes passes into tight coverage but doesn't put a lot on the throws. It is as if he knows the defensive backs can't pick it off, and with the increased speed of the corners in the NFL this could be deadly. He also has a very slow delivery, one where he has to rear back and throws the pass. This delay can be dangerous in the NFL as it gives defensive backs more time to catch up to the receiver and, more importantly, the pass rushers more time to get to him. He is an interesting and hard working prospect but one who is going to need a lot of work on the next level, especially adjusting to the speed of the NFL.
