Tatum Bell Scouting Report

Bell had his second 1,000-rushing season this past season. In 2002, he ran for 1,096 yards on just 175 attempts and was a Second Team All-Big 12 selection. This past season, Bell ran for 1,331 yards on 213 attempts, an average of six yards per carry. He is an extremely fast runner; he was timed running the 40 in 4.34 seconds coming out of high school. Since Bell has good speed, he has the ability to run outside the tackles. However, since he is so fast, he has not yet learned how to be patient waiting for the holes to open up.
