Past Cleveland Brown HANFORD DIXON joins the broadcast team.

Cleveland, OH - FOX Sports Ohio is excited for the return of High School Football Game of the Week.Once again, the network is bringing live coverage of Northeast Ohio's high school football action between celebrated rival match-ups into local living rooms this season with 10 exclusive, local games that will air LIVE Thursday evenings this fall. The action starts on FOX Sports Ohio Thursday, August 27 at 7pm when the West Geauga Wolverines host the Chardon Hilltoppers

LIVE coverage will begin Thursday evenings 30 minutes prior to kick-off with FOX Sports Ohio LIVE. The network is proud to announce Kenny Roda as the new host of this pre-game show. Roda has been a constant on the Cleveland sports radio scene since 1992. He currently hosts "In the Zone with Kenny Roda" on Cleveland's WKNR 850 which focuses on local sports, as well as Ohio State football and basketball. Roda's in-depth pre-game coverage will provide local fans with special features and unique commentary.

FOX Sports Ohio is also excited to announce Hanford Dixon, who served as a fill-in commentator last year, will complete his first full season as game analyst during Thursday night's High School Football Game of the Week. Dixon played defensive back in the Cleveland Browns for nine seasons and was named to three Pro Bowls during his tremendous career.

For the fourth consecutive season, three-time Emmy award winner Jeff Phelps will serve as the play-by-play announcer for Northeast Ohio's Thursday night High School Football Game of the Week. Phelps also currently serves as co-host of Cavaliers Live, and is a sideline reporter during live game telecasts. Phelps has also hosted Cleveland Indians pre-game and post-game shows as well as Cleveland Browns, Ohio State Football and Mid-American Conference programming.

Dionne Miller will begin her second season as sideline reporter and post-game show host. Since joining FOX Sports Ohio in July of 2008, Miller has worked on various network programs including Cavaliers in the Paint and Buckeye State Tailgate.

Carl Patterson will continue to again this year as pre-game and game producer.

"The entire Northeast Ohio area has embraced the High School Football Game of the Week on FOX Sports Ohio," said Henry Ford, Senior Vice President and General Manager, FOX Sports Ohio. "We're proud to once again feature some of our best local high school programs and support our communities this fall."

Not only will FOX Sports Ohio make a weekly contribution to the athletic departments of the competing schools, but each weeks' telecasts will also promote the schools' other sports and activities through interviews with athletic directors, principals and other key faculty. And of course, no game is complete without getting the chance to see and hear the marching bands perform at halftime!
