Did Maurice Jones-Drew get physical with a security guard? Well, a police report says he did.
The Jaguars running back allegedly punched a security guard in the face with a closed fist at the Conch House, a restaurant in St. Augustine, Fla. The guard was allegedly knocked out as a result.
However, hold everything: Jones-Drew’s agent — Adisa Bakari — says that the St. Augustine police department will be issuing a press release saying his client will not actually be facing any charges.
Adisa Bakari: “Maurice was there and was not involved. As soon as an altercation broke out, Maurice exited the premises.”

Bakari says his client was at the restaurant, but left as soon as the altercation started.
The reported incident happened on Sunday, during “Reggae Sundays” at the restaurant. Security told one of Jones-Drew’s friends to stop touching a female patron. When the friend touched the woman on the chest, a brawl followed. When the friend was put in a headlock by one of the guards, Jones-Drew allegedly whacked him in the face.
The security guard was taken to a local hospital and suffered a jaw contusion.
The Jaguars did address the alleged incident in a statement.
“We are aware of the situation regarding Maurice Jones-Drew and are in the process of gathering more information. Due to this being a legal matter, we’ll have no further comment at this time.”
