Miami Marlins @ Los Angeles Dodgers

Scheduled Start Time: 10:10 PM ET

Dodger Stadium

(Sports Network) - It's not time to panic yet, but the Los Angeles Dodgers should be concerned with their lack of production.

The Dodgers look to win for the first time this month when they start a three- game series versus the Miami Marlins Friday at Chavez Ravine. They are currently riding a season-high seven-game losing streak and have been swept in back-to-back series against San Francisco and Arizona.

In a 3-2 loss to the Diamondbacks on Wednesday, Paul Goldschmidt's solo home run with two out in the eighth inning sent the Dodgers to the showers with another loss. Kenley Jansen served up the homer and was dealt the loss, while starter Clayton Kershaw was solid through seven innings, giving up two runs -- one earned -- with four strikeouts and one walk.

'It seems like Goldschmidt's been a one-man wrecking crew on us,' Dodgers manager Don Mattingly said. 'It doesn't really matter who is out there. He's hit our three best arms.'

Nick Punto and Adrian Gonzalez both had RBI doubles for the Dodgers. Gonzalez left the game after four innings because of a neck strain and is day-to-day.

'I'll be all right,' Gonzalez said on the team's website. 'I'll be ready to go Friday.'

Dodgers youngster Matt Magill will make the third start of his career and season Friday and he has no record and a 7.88 earned run average in two starts. Magill lasted only 1 1/3 innings his last time out in a 10-9 loss against the Giants on Saturday and gave up five runs and six hits.

Magill, a right-hander, will face the Marlins for the first time.

The Marlins will finish up the back end of a 10-game road trip and have lost six of their last eight games. They are 2-5 so far on the trek and were just swept in three games by the San Diego Padres.

In a 1-0 loss on Wednesday, Yonder Alonso plated Will Venable with a sacrifice fly in the sixth inning and Ricky Nolasco was dealt the hard-luck loss. He gave up that lone run and struck out nine batters in seven innings.

'I put myself in a bad situation there, lost us the game by walking Carlos Quentin on an 0-2 count,' said Nolasco. 'I couldn't put him away, ended up walking him and that was the game right there.'

Marlins starter Jose Fernandez looks to build on a solid start when he takes the mound Friday. Fernandez fanned nine and allowed only one hit in seven shutout innings in a 2-0 win at Philadelphia on Saturday, when he improved to 1-2 in six starts to go along with a 3.48 ERA.

The young right-hander is 1-2 in four road assignments and will pitch against Los Angeles for the first time.

L.A. won four of six games against the Marlins a season ago.
